By using lanza.ae you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site.

What Lanza is

Lanza is a listings platform for gold, jewellery and watches in the UAE. We introduce buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any sale, we do not handle payment between you, we do not hold goods, and we do not inspect or authenticate anything listed here.

A verified badge means we have seen a shop's trade licence and checked it was valid. It is not a guarantee of any particular piece, price or transaction.

Your account

You must be 18 or over. One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself — anything done with your account is your responsibility.

You may not create an account if we have previously suspended you.

Listing rules

Everything you post must be accurate. Specifically:

• The photos must be of the actual item you are selling.
• Weight, purity, karat, brand and reference must be true.
• You must have the right to sell it.
• Do not list counterfeits, replicas sold as genuine, or stolen goods.
• Do not list anything you cannot legally sell in the UAE.

We review listings before they go live and may reject or remove anything at our discretion. We will tell you why.

Shops and trade licences

To register as a shop you must hold a valid UAE trade licence and upload it. The details you enter must match the document. If your licence expires, your shop loses its verified status until you upload a current one.

Giving us a false or altered licence ends your account and may be reported to the issuing authority.

Buying and selling

Between you and the other party. We are not involved. We do not hold money, guarantee delivery, or arbitrate disputes about the item itself.

Meet in a public place. Verify the piece and its certificate before paying. Do not send a deposit or transfer before seeing what you are buying.

Delivery, where a shop offers it, is that shop's own arrangement. We do not provide, insure or guarantee it.

If a deal goes wrong, we can provide the conversation you had on Lanza if the police or a court asks for it. That is the limit of what we can do.

Balance and paid features

You can add balance to your Lanza account and spend it on paid features such as posting beyond your plan's limit, featuring a listing, or moving one up.

• Balance is prepaid credit for Lanza services only. It is not money held
• on your behalf, cannot be withdrawn as cash, and cannot be transferred to
• anyone else.
• Prices are shown before you are charged, every time.
• If we reject a listing you paid to post, we refund it automatically.
• We may change prices. Balance you have already spent is unaffected.
• If we close your account for breaking these terms, unspent balance is
• forfeited.

[LEGAL REVIEW, refunds on unspent purchased balance are not settled. This determines whether unspent balance is a liability owed or a service rendered, and it needs an opinion before real money is taken.]

Messages

Messages on Lanza are between you and the other party, but we can read them when investigating a report or a dispute. Do not use them to harass anyone, to advertise, or to move a transaction somewhere we cannot see it — that last one is how most scams here work.

Content you post

You keep ownership of your photos and text. By posting them you give us permission to display them on Lanza and to use them to promote the platform.

Do not post anything you do not have the right to post.

What we may do

We may remove a listing, suspend an account, or refuse service, at our discretion, when something breaks these terms. We will give a reason. For suspension you can appeal by replying to any email from us.

Liability

Lanza is provided as it is. We do not promise the site will always be available, that listings are accurate, or that any seller or buyer will behave well.

To the extent UAE law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from a transaction between users, from something a user posted, or from your inability to use the site. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will say so on the site.
